ملاحظاتي على بعض الكتب التي قرأتها أو سمعتها في ٢٠١١
هذه ملاحظاتي على بعض الكتب التي قرأتها أو سمعتها في ٢٠١١ أتمنى أن تجدوا فيها الفائدة
- The book (Your Brain at Work) by David Rock is one of the best books about the subject of the brain functions and there application in real life, it’s both scientific and practical a must read or listen
كتاب “قوة الإقناع” للدكتور علي الحمادي من افضل ما قرأت حول هذا الموضوع باللغة العربية، فيه الكثير من الاستشهادات و القصص من التاريخ و معاصرة كما انه يذكر اهم المبادئ وان كان لي بعض الملاحظات: ١- هو ادخل الحوار مع الاقناع و انا افصل بينهما ٢- ادخل ضمن اساليب الاقناع بعض اساليب التفاوض و بالذات مدرسة الطريق الى نعم، و عندي تحفظ في هذا لان هناك فرق بين العملية التفاوضية و عملية الاقناع و ان كانا يتفقان في بعض الاساسيات ٣- اكتفى بالمراجع الاجنبية المترجمة للعربية، و اعتقد ان هناك الكثير من الكتب الغير مترجمة فيها مبادئ ومفاهيم كانت اثرت الكتاب ٤- تم تكرار بعض القصص في الكتاب ( اعتقد لابد من تنبيه الاخوة في الابداع الفكري) و مع هذا يظل هو افضل الكتب العربية (حتى الكتب المترجمة) في الموضوع على الاقل حتى اقوم بنشر كتابي (هندسة الاقناع)

- The Book “The naked presenter” by Garr Rynolds ( @presentationzen ) is one of the best books about public speaking I read, I liked it more then his older books. It is a must read for beginners level readers (great organization of the material) and a good read for advance level readers
- The book “The Decision Book – 50 models for strategic thinking” Is a great small book that summrieze lots of models in different fields a must read
- The Forrester’s Research books (about the social media & technology)Groundswell & Empowered are a must read books for any person or organization that want to embrace social technology in their life and business, they are full with data and case studies and insights which are not available in a lot other books about the same subjects
-The book “Change by Design” by Tim Brown , is a great book about design thinking and creative thinking for products, services, social enterprises and schools. It has great insights and fabulous stories, a very good read
-The book “Engage!” by: Brian Solis is a master peace in social media, it is a great reference and a must read for anyone interested, in simple it is a “social media university”
كتاب الاعتراف بالخطأ للأستاذة نسيبة المطوع يجمع بعض النماذج المتميزة عن مزايا و فوائد الاعتراف بالخطأ مع الكثير من التأصيلات الشرعية و ان كنت لم استسغ القصة التي في آخره – مثالية بعض الشئ و على العموم أنصح بقراءته لأن فيه بعض المعاني التي لا توجد في غيره من الكتب عن نفس الموضوع
- The book “Resonate” by Nancy Duarte Is the best book I read till now about presentations, there lots of books about the skills of presentation but this the only one who talks about the concept and get it a must must read for any one with an idea and need o present it Thank you Nancy
- The book “Referral Engine” by John Jantschcontains a great referral system & it’s full of tools about how to market your ideas & business
- The book “Life Inc.” by Douglas Rushkoff is one of the best unti-corroborates book I read (it contains some conspiracy theory & some cynical approach) but there is lots of good information in it & a must read for any social activist
- The book “Happiness Advantage” by Shown Achor is a nice book about positive psychology, based on good research(a nice to read not a must to read)
- The book “Off the wall marketing ideas” by Nancy Michaels & Debbi J. Karpowicz, is a good reference (with good check lists) about the tools for marketing your business, though some of the ideas in it are outdated
- The book “The Rational Optimist” by Matt Ridley Is a large supporter for free market & growth, full of arguments to support it even declared an attack on the green movement, some of his arguments are right and some of them worth understanding
- The book (Black Swan) by Nassim Taleb, is a great book about randomness and chaos, it is an eye opener to dangerous mixing between Extreme-stan or in Mediocre-stan in economy, social since and other fields, it is a great read (though keep an eye that is from Extreme-stan)
- The book (Practical Wisdom) by Practical Wisdom by Barry Schwartz & Kenneth Sharpe is great practical philosophical book, it is an intersection between philosophy & practical science, rules & judgment, fairness & empathy
- The book (The Dragon-fly Effect) by “Jennifer Aaker, Andy Smith & Carlye Adler” Is a great book about the use of social media no influence change, it contains some great stories , very nice tips and very helpful models A must read for any one of us “the new social activists”
